Thank you for supporting Sarah's Law.
What you can do in the last week
before the election
(and how to use up your last flyers)
"I go every day to one school: middle school, high
school, and elementary schools and pass your (Prop 4) flyers to the parents
when they pick up their kids (probably could be done in the morning as well).
"Parents are very grateful, It is legal although you might
have a teacher telling you that you should go across the street. You can be legally
on the sidewalk adjacent to the school.
"Most of the time I stand on the driveway exit on the driver's side, parent's side,
or if that is not safe for you on the side where the student sits and I ask to please
hand the flyer to the parent. It goes fast and easy." - Mecki Grothues in La Habra, Oct. 23
Great moments in the Prop 4 debate
Catherine Short, one of the authors of Proposition
4, spars for three days in an LA Times online debate (Dust Up) with the Los Angeles
Planned Parenthood spokeswoman. Read here
Bill Handel tells listeners during his 8 a.m. on KFI AM news/talk radio show in
Los Angeles (most listened-to talk show
station in the country), "Am I going to vote for Prop
4? Yeah, probably. Even though I'm a big pro-choice guy."
